DAY 1: AIRPORT - MUSCAT
Welcome to Oman! Your guide will await you at Muscat International airportand will lead you around the most beautiful places in Muscat beforechecking in at the hotel. Start your Half-Day Muscat City Tour from the Sultan Qaboos Mosque-GrandMosque,the 5thbiggest Mosque in the world (please consider the dress code). TheMosque is open from 0800 HRS till 1100 HRS (except Friday).Pass the embassy quarter and enjoy a guided tour through thebeautiful Royal Opera House (tour services are just available ifthere is no rehearsal on stage). Visit the Bait Al Baranda Museum.After this you drive along the corniche to Muttrah Souk, the oldestsouk in Oman. Continue to Al Alam Palace, which is flanked by twoPortuguese Forts, Al Mirani and Al Jalali.
Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 2: AMOUAGE - BIRKAT AL MAUZ - JEBEL AKHDAR
Before you leave the capital, visit the Amouage factory. Discover the different incenses and learn more about how one of the most expensive perfumes in the world is produced. From there, you will head to the Hajar Mountains. Stop in Birkat Al Mauz, a beautiful small village surrounded by date and banana trees. Then, continue your drive up to around 2,000 meters above sea level. Enjoy the beauty of Jebel Akhdar, which means “Green Mountain,” before checking in at your hotel.

DAY 3: NIZWA - BAHLA - JABREEN
Leave the mountain for a day excursion to the Nizwa area. First, you will have some time to explore the traditional souq, which is divided into different sections, including vegetables, dates, and souvenirs. The souq is especially famous for its silver jewelry and handmade khanjars (daggers). Proceed to the fort of the old capital and learn more about its fascinating history.
After leaving Nizwa, continue to Bahla, a mystical city home to one of the four UNESCO World Heritage sites in Oman—Bahla Fort. Here, you will have the opportunity to walk around the old village and take a photo stop. The last stop of the day is Jabreen Castle, known as the most beautiful castle in Oman. Be sure to visit the fort’s interior and listen to the story of its builder, Imam Bil’arub bin Sultan, and his tragic history.

DAY 4: AL HAMRA - MISFAT AL ABRYEEN - WADI BANI AWF
Today, you will leave the interior of Oman. The first stop is Al Hamra. In the middle of the old village, there is a beautifully renovated museum that offers a glimpse of how Omanis used to live—and how some still live today. Next, you will visit the mountain village Misfat Al Abryeen, which has existed since ancient times. It is not possible to drive through the village, so we will take the opportunity to enjoy a scenic walk around the area.
Your journey will then lead you to Wadi Bani Awf, an adventurous drive through the mountains with mesmerizing views. You will also visit the beautiful village of Bilad Said, which invites you to walk around its lush terrace fields. Today’s tour will end at the coastline of the Batinah region.

DAY 5: WADI ABIYAD - NAKHL - WAKAN
Today’s unique adventure will bring you to the Batinah region, one of the most interesting yet still undiscovered areas in Oman. First of all, you will discover Wadi Abiyad. Depending on the water level, you may do some wadi bashing, take a refreshing bath, or simply go for a walk in the area. From there, you will continue to one of the oldest settlements in this region. Nakhl has an impressive fort built on a 60-meter-high mountain. While your guide takes you through the different areas of the fort, you will get a glimpse of how the Omanis used to live.
Drive through the old part of Nakhl, where mud houses are surrounded by gardens, and reach Ain Thowarah, the hot spring system of Nakhl. In the early afternoon, you will leave the city and proceed to the Hajar Mountains. A small village called Wakan, where locals still live the traditional Omani way, invites you to walk through its fruitful gardens and enjoy unique views of the mountain landscape. After the walk, you will return to your hotel.
